Some of my favorite memories from kindergarten were making Mr. Red, doing the silent cheer, and playing in the bean table. I also remember you dressing up as a Beanie Baby for Halloween. Thank you for making learning fun and best wishes for retirement!
I graduated from Illinois State University in 2010 with my Bachelor of Nursing. I met my husband Mike there and we married in 2013. We have three children, Alex (8), Sarah (5), and Jack (2). I work as a nurse at Lurie’s and love to run in the Chicago marathon every year!

I remember I was scared to start kindergarten and cried every time my mom dropped me off the first few weeks, but you helped me acclimate while we waited in line for the busers to get there. We had such a fun year and that class became my family. I am still friends with Jack Bridges and Emily Lee to this day. My favorite memory was seeing how our classroom transformed during the rainforest unit. You had such a big impact on me that I decided to become a teacher too.
I am going into my senior year at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. I am majoring in elementary education and currently student teaching 3rd grade at a local school. I hope to stay in the pacific northwest after I graduate. Oh and I have a bulldog named Wesley.

As Priya's parents, Siddhartha and Laura, thank you for helping her excel in the classroom. She loved when it was her turn to bring home the class books and when your senior helper Doe was there. We hope you enjoy your retirement! Priya says, "Thanks for everything Mrs. Kehm!"
Priya is going into 8th grade at Plum Grove in the fall. She has made the honor roll there every quarter and has many friends. She enjoys playing piano and soccer. She wants to be an author someday.
Thank you for helping keep this a surprise for Mrs. Kehm!
